Tracking Notification

After sending a container tracking request to ShipsGo, the first check is done by the automation of ShipsGo, which we call Kraken. Kraken; At that moment, it sends you the tracking information it finds about the container you sent the request to you as an e-mail notifications & alerts.

Then your shipment;

• If its status changes,
• If any date related to the journey of the shipment changes
• If the port names change, you will receive a notifications & alerts e-mail.

If we want to explain with an example:
You will be notified when your shipment is Sailed, you will be notified when your shipment arrives at POD, and you will be notified before arrival if there is any date change or a change in ports.

Alerts

• Release Alert: If your shipment has arrived at POD, discharged (transferred from the ship to the port), and has still not been Gate Out even though 5 days have passed since the discharged date (the owner has not pulled the container from the port), a Release Alert is sent. Release Alert; your shipment is sent every 5 days without Gate Out.
• Gate Out Confirmation: A “Gate Out” notification & alert e-mail is sent when your cargo is withdrawn from the port by the buyer.

* The reasons for UNTRACKED might be:

1. Wrong Container / MBL / Booking Number; please check it and inform us of the correct number for your shipment status.
2. The shipping line doesn’t have a tracking service, or it’s not working now.
   Thus, our system cannot track it.

• Gate Out: Your shipment has been gated out (taken out by the consignee) from the POD.

One of the useful content of ShipsGo is the reports it offers. These reports, presented with information from the tracking requests you submit, are great data for your company’s supply chain, planning, and export-import departments. So how do you create a report? Report Subscription presents😎

You have come to the “Report Subscription” section on your Dashboard. When you click on the “Create” button, you will see the “Report” section on the screen that appears. There are eight types of reports that you can already create. Except for the contents of these eight reports, if you want a different report, just contact us.

After selecting the report type, you need to set a period for the report to be delivered to you daily or weekly. Add the e-mail addresses you want the report sent to in the e-mail address box, one below the other. You can complete your report request by selecting Creator and Follower accounts.

Co-Worker Plus:

• You can view all tracking requests in the account.
• You do not have permission to access your company’s account settings.

First, let’s learn about the categories of our notification emails. 👇

InProgress: The notification sent in cases where the carrier company has not yet shared information about the shipment for which a tracking request has been sent is an e-mail. When information comes from the carrier, you will be notified.

Tracking: These are the notification e-mails sent in the period between the ship’s departure and its arrival.

Gate Out: Gate out notification emails are sent when your cargo is withdrawn from the unloading port.

Release: Information emails are sent until your cargo is withdrawn from the unloading port.

Now let’s decide who these e-mails will go to!

Main: The main account user.

Creator: The person who created the container tracking request.

Follower: You may have business partners to that you want container tracking notifications to be sent. The follower option is there for this. You can add more than one follower. You can add a follower while creating the related container tracking request.

Your IT team adds the codes in the “Add to Your Website” section in the Dashboard > Live Map section to your website interface.

After that, ShipsGo Live Map is installed on your website. After these processes are completed, you can start using Live Map. Now you or your users can view the live position of the shipments they track on the map.

When you enter the port of discharge and port of loading information in the tool you see above and search, you will see carriers and forwarders serving that route. What you need to do here is to click on the service or forwarder button and examine the results. In the results, you can find the most suitable service for you and contact the company.

• Latest Gate Out: In this list, you have transports that have arrived at the port of discharge and were pulled by the load consignee inside the container. When you click on the eye icon in the table, information about this shipment will appear. You can delete this shipment or edit its reference by clicking the three lines button.
• Waiting Containers: In this list, your shipments that have arrived at the port of discharge and are waiting at the port with the load inside the container unloaded are listed.
• Waiting Containers (80+): In this list, your shipments that have arrived at the port of discharge and have been waiting at the port for more than 80 days with the load inside the container unloaded are listed.
